Responsible Business - Green Travel
Taking responsibility for the environment and the local community plays an important role for the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey. As part of our dedicated Responsible Business programme we have a unique Responsible Business Action Plan covering areas such as community outreach, environmental improvement, employee well-being and health and safety. One of the priorities in the Action Plan is to encourage guests to take ownership and to travel around the island responsibly.
This hotel is ideally located in the capital of Jersey, St Helier. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from the centre and financial district and can easily be reached by public transport. Jersey International Airport is only 25 minutes by bus and the ferry terminal, Elizabeth Harbour, is only a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Travelling by bus can help lower guests’ carbon footprint and save time and money used in car parks. For more details on eco-friendly bus travel, please see the Greener Travel section on the States of Jersey website
When travelling from the Airport guests can utilise the frequent number 15 bus which stops at Liberation Station only a five minute walk from the hotel. Jersey buses also offer excellent routes covering the whole island, and during the summer months visitors can take advantage of the dedicated myExplorer Buses which cover the main tourist attractions and destinations.
