Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust
Set up fifty years ago by conservationist Gerald Durell with the mission of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust to save species from extinction. Enjoy a great day out in the Zoological Park watching the Gorillas sunbathe and the meerkats mingle around in their enclosure, discover endangered species and learn more about how to save them from extinction.

Elizabeth Castle
Only 2 minutes from the hotel, Elizabeth Castle was built during the 1590s in St Aubins Bay. Visitors can learn more about the history of the castle brought to life with live acts performing scenes from the ancient times. Surrounded by the sea at high tide, you can take the famous aqua duck to and from the castle and at low tide you can take a pleasant stroll along the sea bed to reach the ramparts.

Mont Orgueil Castle
Towering above the colourful houses of Gorey Harbour, Mont Orgueil was built during the 13th century to protect the island from French invasion. The castle has a warren of passageways, rooms and turrets to explore and even a 'wheel of Urine'. It also offers spectacular views over the island and to France.
